I’ve never been one to blog about upcoming releases – in the Spring, one of my first ever blog posts was on Autumn releases in 2016, but I never really made it a Thing. However, this Autumn marks the release of some books that I have been excited for all year round, and so I couldn’t help but share them all with you!
Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart (5th September) – this book has actually already come out, and so I plan on reading it as soon as possible! I have always found E. Lockhart’s books to be so suspenseful, and amazingly written; the description of this book, in my opinion, does not give much away, but as usually I am utterly intrigued!
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (7th September) – I just love the concept of this book, and there has been so much hype surrounding it over the past couple of months – I have never read anything by Adam Silvera before, but I have heard so many great things about History Is All You Left Me. This is another one which is already out, and so I am really looking forward to buying myself when I’m next at a bookstore!
Undercover Princess by Connie Glynn (21st September) – I received an ARC of Undercover Princess at YALC, so hopefully I can start reading it soon, as it sounds like just the sort of book I love. I also love Connie’s videos, and so when I found out she was writing a book I was delighted (and then binge-watched all of her videos about her writing and publishing process)!
Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu (21st September) – this is another feminist YA novel that I am so ready for! I have heard only good things about Moxie so far, and I can already tell that the characters and the plot will be epic.
It Only Happens in the Movies by Holly Bourne (2nd October) – as some of you may know, I absolutely adore Holly Bourne’s writing. She’s one of my favourite authors, and I have been looking forward to her newest book, another kick-ass feminist contemporary, for months!
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green (10th October) – when this book was first announced a few months ago, the internet pretty much exploded. And with good reason, as it’s been years since John Green came out with a new book. Although I’m not sure how much I would love The Fault in Our Stars if I read it now, I remember loving John Green’s writing, and so this is an extremely exciting upcoming release!
These are the releases I am most excited about for the next couple of months – if you’ve read any of these already, I would love to hear what you thought. Have an amazing autumn everyone, and please let me know what books you’re looking forward to!
