Victober TBR | 2017

One of my reading goals for this year to read more widely, and so when I heard about Victober I thought it would be a great place to start! Victober is essentially about reading Victorian literature in October – you can choose to read whatever you want, or follow the reading challenges that have been set. This year, Victober is being ran by Lucy @ Lucy the Reader, Kate @ Kate Howe, Ange @ Beyond the Pages, and Katie @ Books and Things, and they are the ones who have set the challenges I am going to try and complete!

A Classics Haul

It’s time again for another classics related post – as I mentioned not too long ago, I want to really get on top of things, and read more classics alongside YA. Because of this, I have recently acquired a huge number of classics which will take me at least a year to read. There are around twenty books in this haul, so I will simply go into detail about the ones which I bought myself to start!

Classics Crackdown

This summer I decided it was time for me to have a classics crackdown – alongside YA, of course. I want to read more, and read widely, discovering books I love from hundreds of years ago, as well as keeping up with all the wonderful YA being published. I may be giving myself too much to do, but I suppose only time will tell. And I thought I would begin sharing all my classic-related endeavours with you, lovely reader (though I am sure these posts will be quite infrequent, as after all, this is a YA blog).

I’m beginning with something super fun and interesting: my compulsory summer reading list. Or rather, my summer reading list-that-is-kinda-voluntary-but-I’ll-read-them-all-anyway-because #OVERACHIEVER.
